Deepika slammed for 'open relationship' despite committed to Ranveer
LAHORE (Faheem Haider) - Famous Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone's fans got angry and criticized her for her relationship with other men despite being in a relationship with Ranveer Singh.
The eighth season of Indian filmmaker Karan Johar's most popular show ‘Koffee with Karan’ has started in which Deepika Padukone and her husband Ranwar Singh appeared as guests in the first episode.
Video clips of this episode are going viral on social media, in one of the clips Deepika Padukone can be seen talking openly about her past relationships.
During the show, Deepika opened up about her past relationships and revealed that she wasn't initially looking for a committed relationship.
Padukone said that she wanted to be single and enjoy life and then Ranveer Singh came into my life but she didn't make any promises to him either until he proposed her.
The actress said that despite being in a relationship with Singh, she used to meet other men, but she did not find any interest in another man, while adding even when she was dating other men, only Ranveer Singh was in my mind.
She added that of course she was in relationships with other men but all she could think of was that she would go back to Ranveer.
Deepika is being slammed by social media users after her statement.
A user posted pictures of Deepika Padukone's past relationships saying that Deepika was exposed on "Koffee With Karan".
Another user called Deepika Padukone (Situationship) "opportunism" while some users also expressed their sorrow for Ranveer Singh after the actress' statement.
